Grading Policy

The DNS grading policy is as follows:

Tests/Projects/Presentations = 50% of the final grade

Quizzes = 30% of the final grade

Homework/Classwork/Participation = 20% of the final grade

The Effective Writing and Research Grading Policy is as follows:

The Expository Essay, Persuasive Essay, Cause/Effect Essay, and the presentations will count as Quiz grades.

The Critical Essay and Presentation will count as the Mid-Term Exam.

The Research Paper and Presentation will count as the Final Exam.

All 1st drafts of essays will be weighed as Homework/Classwork assignments.
