About

Ms. Medlock is continuing her career in educational leadership by serving as the Head of School/Principal of Durham Nativity School!  Her most recent position prior to coming to DNS was serving as Principal of a National Blue Ribbon School in Winston-Salem, NC. She brings with her over 16 years experience in education as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Math and Theatre Specialist, grant writer, Assistant Principal and Principal. Her undergraduate degree is from Texas Southern University and her Masters in School Administration is from UNC-Greensboro. She began working on her Doctorate in Education Leadership and Administration at Gardner-Webb University.

Ms. Medlock is an experienced instructional leader and facilitator of academic advancement, social growth and character development. She is a results-driven, imaginative problem-solver, dedicated to serving the whole child.

Ms. Medlock has one son in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
